CEO Update – August 2021

H2Q has seen a busy few weeks of late.  In summary, we launched our working groups, the national online supplier portal continues to grow with great engagement from the industry, and we welcomed Lion Energy as our first Foundation Platinum Corporate Partner.

We were excited to see one of our Foundation Corporate Partners, Redland City Council, become home to the state’s first hydrogen refuelling station.  One of Queensland’s first hydrogen cars, a Hyundai Nexo SUV, received a tank of fuel at the refuelling station.  Built by H2H Energy (who are located on the Sunshine Coast), the bowser is located at the Department of Agriculture’s Redlands research facility.

Please take the time to register your business on Economx – a national online platform that enables an international insight into the capability in Australian hydrogen.  Wherever you are on your hydrogen journey, and whatever link you provide in the hydrogen supply chain, registration on Economx will be of great benefit (and there is no cost).
